Body development: Fiat Bravo
At the beginning of August 2005, MAGNA STEYR signed a contract with Fiat for the series development of a compact, 5-door C segment vehicle body. The virtual development approach (defined by Fiat) of the successor model to the Fiat Stilo made it possible to carry out the project in the shortest possible time: the project took just 17 months from development to the start of series production.
It was launched on the market in January 2007 - one month earlier than planned. Five stars in the EuroNCAP Test meant the top rating for the Fiat Bravo.
